So…this is my first time to write on the blog. I was watching Jeopardy today and I was getting most of the answers right and I thought, man I could go on that show, then I sat down to write this blog and it took me five minutes to remember how to spell “Jeopardy”.  Maybe Jeopardy isnt in the cards, maybe its time to stop chasing rainbows, maybe its time to grow up and get a real job, maybe its time to cut my hair and shave my beard, maybe its time to stop sprinkling the word “boobs” into my daily conversations as many times as possible.  Then again, maybe not. I like the word “boobs”, I like my beard, I had a real job once, it sucked, possibly Jeopardy is in the cards. I think Alex Trebec and I would get along grandly.  Why  quit chasing rainbows?  Do you know what is at the end of a rainbow? Gold, biatch, GOLD!  I know what you’re saying, “C’mon Sexy Legs, that is a myth”, youre also probably saying “Why did I call you Sexy Legs?” but then you remember that you have seen these calves and they are sexy as shit.  All I’m saying is maybe it is a myth, but they also said that midgets were a myth.  What happens when I get that gold and you need a loan to buy the fourth season of The Hills on d.v.d. ?  A harsh man wouldnt give you the loan because you doubted him all along, however I am a really kindhearted, forgiving, extremely attractive guy and I would go out and buy the dvd’s for you without you even asking because I’m also really thoughtful.  And that my friends is what being a Giant of Enoch is all about.

we’re getting more and more excited about this project all of the time.  we weren’t really sure what it would amount to when we first started getting together as none of us knew each other very well going in.  we couldnt be happier with how things have progressed.  hopefully we can translate what we see to you guys at the shows.

Tonight we will be making our very first appearance in Stillwater at Willies Saloon.  We are very excited and hope to see a lot of you out there.  I played Willies many times with The Coats and always had a great time up there.  I hope tonight is even better!

We’re playing the Wormy Dog Saloon in Bricktown this Thursday night.  You need to be there because for the first time Giants will be preforming with a lead guitarist!  Zane Russel of Galapagos is going to start sitting in on some shows with us and this would be a great one to see. 

Big News!  As of yesterday I have bought a new drum kit.  You won’t see it until July but it is coming!  It is so sweet.  Be excited!

So Jess and I are having a garage/yard/driveway sale.  We thought we had more stuff than we do.  If you’ve ever been garage sale-ing, you know it’s common practice to creep by each one and decide if you want to stop or not.  Most of our creepers continue on down the street.  Lazy fucking bastards.  I admit, if I was in their position, I would probably do the same thing.  But I am not in their position, so I am justified in passing judgement.  So wish us luck on our entrepreneurial endeavor, because if we don’t make back the $21 we spent in drinks, signs, and a permit, it will have all been in vain.

I am hardcore.  Okay, not really, but I did bust through the head of my snare drum this past saturday at TapWerks.  Although!  i did not break any (not a one!) drum sticks that night.  Nevermind that the sticks became half way useless without a snare drum.  Giants of Enoch focus on the positives.  Really though, it was a great night and thanks to those of you that came for showing your support.  See you at the next one!  Maybe I’ll saw my bass drum in half next time.  Or we can play frisbee with a cymbal.  You won’t know unless you come.

So Jess has been playing Super Mario Bros. 3 all day…. Cussing and whatnot.  I admire her patience.  If i were playing, there would probably be a fucking hole in the wall.

Last night we played the Deli for the second time.  It was awesome!  Thanks to everyone that came and hung out.  On Saturday we return to Tapwerks and it would be great if you came out (unless, of course you are headed for the lake).  Saturday should be a great time.  Maybe we’ll have some free demo’s to hand out again.  See you guys soon!

A week from our first Deli appearance we are already back for another one.  This show was booked last minute so it would be great to have a lot of you show up.  We had band practice last night and worked on a couple more new songs and fine tuned a couple others so we can get things sounding a little more solid for tonights gig.  Hope to see you all out there!
