A Master Promethean - a warrior-shaman with power over fire. Though outwardly hardened, Rhyden is haunted by the loss of his former allies. He begins the journey out of loyalty but he finds something deeper: true redemption, responsibility, and a father-like devotion to those in his care. 

An alchemist from the Blackcopper Caravan, he was once enslaved by a fallen Tree of Gnosis and bound to a mysterious black tablet. After being freed by Rhyden, Thornn vows to follow him and learn the Promethean path. His journey will take him from broken and mindless to a rising warrior.

Marked with a Rune of Odin that grants him control over gravity, Kale struggles to master a power that erupts during moments of rage and grief. Protective of his younger brother Micah, Kale’s strength is matched only by his fear of losing control and becoming something monstrous.

The youngest of the group, Micah’s Rune has yet to awaken. Intelligent, observant, and silently angry, he carries grief deeper than anyone realizes. When his power finally manifests, Micah will be forced to confront the darkness he’s been holding back.
